Warning: There are spoilers ahead for "Game of Thrones."

HBO's television adaptation of author George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" series operates on a grandiose scale when it comes to props, sets, and visual effects. In a new "Making Game of Thrones" video featureprosthetic designer Barrie Gower explains how the magic happens.

The focus of the clip is on the mysterious White Walkers: otherwordly beings who are currently the greatest threat to humanity in Westeros. Each actor who plays a White Walker is fitted with full prosthetics on their hands, face, and sometimes torso.

One exciting snippet in the videos shows the Night's King character, wielding an ice-sword and walking in front of what looks like a large group of White Walkers and Wights.

This White Walker is unlike the rest, with a hairless head covered in spikes (like a crown) and more of a blue hue to his skin.

Here's how he looked in season five's epic "Hardhome" episode:

Fans are eager to see what becomes of the Night's King and his army in the upcoming season, which is why our glimpse of him in the trailer was so exciting.

The season six trailer showed Bran Stark standing and frantically looking around to see none other than the Night's King standing behind him.

game of thrones season 6 bran night's kingWe know this is a vision or dream Bran is having, since he can't use his legs in the real world. So what exactly is he looking at? Our guess is this is the same scene from the above green screen shoot teased in the prosthetics video.

Bran's developing greensight abilities give him the power to see into both the past AND future, meaning there's no way to know for sure if he is seeing something of history (perhaps the origins of the White Walkers or an ancient battle) or if he's seeing into the future.

One this is certain — the White Walkers are just getting started when it comes to waging war against the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros. Bran is about to learn more of the fight to come, and it will be up to him to warn his fellow humankind.

Tune in to the season six premiere of "Game of Thrones" on April 24. Watch the full behind the scenes video below:
