Summary List PlacementPlus Annual Plan (ad-supported) (small)

Paramount Plus offers two types of plans: Essential (ad-supported) and Premium (commercial-free). Both plans feature a monthly or annual payment option, but the annual option saves you about 16%.

The Essential Plan costs $5 a month, and the Premium Plan costs $10 a month. If you end up using the service for a full year, that comes out to $60 or $120, respectively.

The streaming service's annual plans, however, will knock those costs down by around 16%. If you pay for a full year up front, you can get an ad-supported plan for $50 a year, or a commercial-free plan for $100 a year.

Paramount Plus also offers a seven-day free trial for new subscribers. This way you can test the service before you commit to paying for an annual plan.

Paramount Plus subscribers get access to a variety of original programs, including "Star Trek: Discovery" and reboots of old Nickelodeon hits like "iCarly" and "Rugrats." More original shows and movies are on the way in the coming months.

Subscribers should be aware, however, that only the Premium Plan includes live streaming support for your local CBS network. You can read our full Paramount Plus review here.
