- Scarlett Johansson appeared on CBS' "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" on Thursday and spoke about the highly anticipated trailer for her standalone Marvel movie "Black Widow," which was released on Monday at nearly 3:00 a.m. ET.
- The "Marriage Story" star told the late-night host that "Avengers" costar Chris Evans (Captain America/Steve Rogers) was the one who notified her about it.
- "I actually woke up and I got a text from Chris Evans and he was like, 'The trailer looks great,'" Johansson said. "I don't know what he was doing up at 5 a.m. That's a whole other story."
- The actress said that she "was also as excited as everybody else" and Marvel didn't give her a heads up.
- "I don't know, they keep everything from me," Johansson said.
