The cast and crew of "The Walking Dead" took over Madison Square Garden Saturday evening to tease the show's upcoming seventh season.

Though the panel started a half hour late, fans were treated to the debut of a new clip from the AMC series. They also learned a few new things about what's to come in the zombie apocalypse.

Here's what INSIDER learned from the Comic Con panel.

We will definitely learn who was killed at the end of last season in the season seven premiere.

Showrunner Scott Gimple assured fans the show won't make us wait a few episodes to learn the fate of Rick's group.

Season 7 will be much larger than previous seasons.

"It really is a larger world," said executive producer Gale Anne Hurd. "There are new worlds we’re going to be exploring with new characters, obviously Ezekiel and Shiva being two of them."

As fans will soon learn, Ezekiel is the leader of another group called the Kingdom. A former zookeeper, one of his lines of defense in the zombie apocalypse is a tiger named Shiva.

"Even though this show has been a big show it’s essentially been contained," Hurd continued. "We had the Atlanta season, we had the farm season, we had the prison and Woodbury. You name it. Now, we have a Walking Dead universe thanks to Mr. Kirkman."

Norman Reedus, who plays fan-favorite Daryl, says filming that brutal scene with Negan was "miserable."

Moderator Chris Hardwick asked Reedus what was going through Daryl's head while he's on his knees in the season six finale.

"That we're all gonna die," Reedus said without missing a beat. "That's what's going through everyone's head. We're outnumbered and it doesn't look good. It's a weird feeling to be that powerless."

"It doesn't look like we're going to get over that wall. It's a horrible feeling," he added. "I hated doing all that. It was miserable. It sucked, it really did."

Reedus got a huge "Awwww" from the crowd after that one.
