There's a lot on TV right now, and it's not ending anytime soon.
Fall 2016 will see an onslaught of brand new shows on networks, cable, and streaming. Some of the new shows are standard sitcoms you've seen for years. Others are more inventive and exciting ideas. Either way: there is a show out there for just about anybody.
We scoured through the major networks, and a few streaming services, and picked out all of their brand new offerings. If you're looking for something new to watch, here are all the new shows coming to TV this fall.
"American Housewife" (ABC)
Stars: Katy Mixon, Diedrich Bader
Premiere date: Tuesday, October 11 at 8:30 p.m.
What it's about: A strong-willed mother (Mixon) and her misfit family try to make it in a wealthy Connecticut town.
"Conviction" (ABC)
Stars: Hayley Atwell
Premiere date: Monday, October 3 at 10 p.m.
What it's about: A young attorney (Atwell) heads a new agency that investigates cases in which people may have been wrongly convicted.
"Designated Survivor" (ABC)
Stars: Kiefer Sutherland, Natasha McElhone
Premiere date: Wednesday, September 21 at 10:00 p.m.
What it's about: After a devastating attack on Washington, D.C., a low-level cabinet member unexpectedly becomes president of the United States.
