twin peaksWith filming completed on the upcoming revival of "Twin Peaks," the show's full 200-plus person cast list has been revealed, and there are dozens are fascinating names joining the cult David Lynch and Mark Frost series: Trent Reznor, Eddie Vedder, Sky Ferreira, Sharon Van Etten are among the musicians who will appear on the Showtime series in some capacity.

Reznor's Nine Inch Nails guitarist Robin Finck and wife/How to Destroy Angels bandmate Mariqueen Reznor were also cast, as were the members of Au Revoir Simone, the Cactus Flowers, the Chromatics' Ruth Radelet and more.

"The cameras have stopped rolling. A key piece of the mystery is revealed," the series posted on Facebook along with the giant cast list. "Welcome back* to 'Twin Peaks.'"

The asterisk next to names on the cast list denotes actors and actresses who either appeared on the original Twin Peaks series– like Kyle MacLachlan, Sherilyn Fenn, Mädchen Amick, Ray Wise and David Duchovny, to mention a few – or its theatrical film 'Fire Walk With Me,' like Harry Dean Stanton, and Lynch himself. Even "Log Lady" actress Catherine Coulson, who died in September, is among the "Twin Peaks" returnees.

Also joining the cast is Michael Cera, Monica Bellucci, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Jim Belushi, Tim Roth, Robert Forster, Ashley Judd, Amanda Seyfried, and Lynch vets Laura Dern, Balthazar Getty and Naomi Watts.

The brief, mysterious first trailer for the "Twin Peaks" revival arrived in December.

"There's a lot of holy places up here," a man warns in the preview alongside scenic shots of the Pacific Northwest setting. "I can't put my finger on how I would describe it. It just touches something in the psyche."

After initially disagreeing with Showtime and abandoning the revival, Lynch returned to direct all episodes of the upcoming season.

"Twin Peaks" will be back to serve up some small town mystery and damn fine cups of coffee in 2017.
