Legendary Beatles producer George Martin died on Wednesday. But among the tweets and Facebook posts expressing grief and condolences for the man's family, there was a small outcry among some very confused "Game of Thrones" fans.
People thought George R.R. Martin — American author and creator of "A Song of Ice and Fire"— had died.
Fans went into a panic not simply because the beloved author would be dearly missed, but because there are still two books in his epic series that have yet to be written and published.
Take a look at some of the tweets from fans:

RIP George Martin not to be confused with George R R Martin who isn't allowed to die until he finishes writing the next book.
