This one word from Olivia drove 'Scandal' fans wild

Warning: Spoiler alert if you didn't watch Thursday's episode, "Yes."

"Scandal" left one era behind and started a new one with Thursday's episode and it drove fans wild.

At the end of the season premiere, we were hit with quite the cliffhanger: Photos of Olivia (Kerry Washington) and President Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) leaked to the media.

On Thursday's episode, Liv went into hiding while the president wondered how to address the photos. Surmising by her actions that Liv didn't want to confess to their affair, he told her that he would deny their relationship and bring his wife, Mellie (Bellamy Young), back into the White House.

It seemed like a done deal. But then moments later, Liv stepped out of her car and was surrounded by press asking if she is the president's mistress. And, she shocked the world by answering, "Yes."

 With one word, "Scandal" has changed the game. It's suddenly really possible that Liv and Fitz could be together publicly.
