Hillary Clinton is continuing her tour to show us the real her with an appearance on the premiere of "Saturday Night Live" this weekend.
The New York Times sources said that Clinton turned down a speech for gay rights group, the Human Rights Campaign, in order to make the appearance on the NBC sketch show.
According to the paper, Clinton's representatives aren't confirming the appearance. Business Insider has reached out to NBC for comment.
The Times report said that Clinton is expected to appear alongside Kate McKinnon, "SNL's" current Hillary Clinton impersonator.
Apparently, everyone involved was hoping to keep the appearance a secret. Indeed, things may shift at the last minute due to the campaign and fore Clinton to pull out of the appearance.
Saddled with the mounting investigation of her emails, and the public belief that her ambition to be president comes off cold, Clinton's campaign has been making appearances to make her appear more relatable.
Recently, Clinton has appeared on NBC’s “Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” and “Lenny,” an online newsletter from "Girls" star and creator Lena Dunham.
