• Jennifer Lawrence appeared on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" on Thursday, March 1 and responded to the reports that she was dating Brad Pitt. 
• When a caller asked her if the two stars were "secretly dating," the "Red Sparrow" actress denied it. 
• Even though she says the reports weren't true, Lawrence admitted that she didn't mind the speculation too much.
• "No," she said. "I've met him once in like, 2013, so it was very random, but I also wasn't like, in a hurry to debunk it."

In December 2017, it was reported that Jennifer Lawrence was dating Brad Pitt, but the "Red Sparrow" actress has now cleared up the speculation and revealed it's not true. 

While appearing on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" on Thursday, Lawrence answered questions from fans who called in, and one viewer from Pennsylvania asked if the reports of her dating Pitt were true. Lawrence denied them, and explained that they only met once a few years ago.

Even though the speculation was false, she admitted that she didn't mind being paired with Pitt.

"No," she said. "I've met him once in like, 2013, so it was very random, but I also wasn't like, in a hurry to debunk it."

Speculation of Lawrence and Pitt dating surfaced in December 2017, with reports stating that Pitt "had his eye on Jennifer for years" and they were "enjoying lots of late nights together."

Lawrence has been single since she split with Darren Aronofsky, who directed "Mother!," in 2017 and Pitt has been single since he split with Angelina Jolie in 2016.

Lawrence also isn't the first actor to be linked to Pitt. In November 2017, Kate Hudson appeared on "Watch What Happens Live" and addressed the reports that she was dating Pitt. Like Lawrence, she didn't seem to mind the report and called it "kind of awesome." 

"I kind of liked it," Hudson said. "I was like, 'OK, fine. We're having twins!'"

President Trump took to Twitter Friday morning to rail on Alec Baldwin's "Saturday Night Live" impression of him as an "agony" to watch, while praising Darrell Hammond, a previous Trump impressionist for "SNL," as a "funnier and a far greater talent" that the show should "bring back."

What's more surprising than Trump's well-established displeasure with Baldwin's impression is that many have taken to Twitter to agree with Trump, specifically about Hammond's performance being better than Baldwin's.

Here are a few examples:

Hammond lost out on the Trump role to Baldwin in September 2016. Hammond told The Washington Post a year later that he was emotionally devastated by the change.

"I just started crying," Hammond said. "In front of everyone. I couldn't believe it. I was in shock, and I stayed in shock for a long time. Everything wiped out. The brand, me, what I do. Corporate appearances canceled. It was a hell of a shock, and all of it was apparent to me in one breath. That ends me."

"SNL" showrunner Lorne Michaels told The Post that the reason for the change was that he "needed another force, on an acting level, to have the power that Trump was embodying then," in the run up to the 2016 presidential election.

Avoiding "Game of Thrones" spoilers can be tricky.

Actress Rose Leslie even has to take extreme measures to make sure her fiancé Kit Harington won't ruin the HBO show.

"I for sure ask Kit not to show me his excitement after he has read an episode, simply because I don't want to read anything in his eyes," Leslie told Entertainment Weekly.

Leslie and Harington met while starring on "Game of Thrones," playing the doomed lovers Jon Snow and Ygritte. The real-life couple went public with their relationship for the first time in 2016. They announced their engagement in September 2017.

"I know the anticipation is killing a lot of people, and my God the build-up is fantastic," the actress said of the highly-anticipated eighth and final season of the hit show.

"Game of Thrones" is set to return in 2019. 

"I can't wait until next year. So when he's at the other end of the room and reading the episode, it's like, no … we are not going to have eye contact for a long time. Go make a cup of tea. Calm down."

Warning: There are spoilers ahead for AMC's "The Walking Dead."

Not many characters got to bid farewell to Carl during his somber goodbye on "The Walking Dead" including his romantic love interest Enid (Katelyn Nacon). While Carl was suffering from a walker bite to the gut, Enid and Aaron were bargaining for their lives with the Oceanside women.

But Nacon says she wasn't too sad Enid didn't get to say goodbye to Carl on screen.

"No, not really. I think it brings more drama into ... if I could get Enid even more messed up than she already is, this is great. I love playing messed up characters," Nacon tells INSIDER.

"I think the fact that Enid didn't get to say goodbye, it's just a lot harder for her," she continued. "Because she never got to say goodbye to her parents, she never got to say goodbye to Glenn, so it's just another person that she never got the chance to and so I think it just hits her even harder with that. As an actress, I like playing that part."

Nacon found out Chandler Riggs was leaving the AMC series from showrunner Scott M. Gimple, who was the showrunner at the time, while she was at her parents. 

"I remember Scott calls me and he was like, 'Hey I'm just letting everyone know about this,' and was like, 'We're going to kill Carl,'" said Nacon, who added that it didn't quite sink in at first. "I'm pretty sure I was just like, 'Oh, OK.' It just didn't set in at first. I think it went completely went over my head. But then he kept talking about it and I was like, 'Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait. They're actually going to kill Carl. This a big deal. This isn't supposed to happen.' And I think it took like a good 10 minutes for it all to actually set in, and for me to understand that this was reality. I definitely didn't see it coming. Really out of the blue."

It was a definitely a surprise to fans and cast alike because Carl is still alive in "The Walking Dead" comic series and becomes one of its primary protagonists.

How will Carl's death affect Enid

While other losses have hit Enid hard in the past, Nacon says this death will affect her in a different way.

"She doesn't become closed off again. I think she's gotten through the period of where her way of coping with things is just shutting everyone out. I think she's past that," said Nacon.

Instead, Nacon teases we'll see a different side of Enid and many of the cast members moving forward after they learn of Carl's death. 

"It's interesting to see this shift in Enid from before she finds out to after she finds out [about Carl's death]. Because she's almost a different person, and it's like her perspective pretty much changes," Nacon adds. "I feel like it's gonna be a lot of fun for the audience to watch as well, just how it all affects not only her but other people because it affects everyone very differently. You'll see that in an episode to come, the conflicting views of how to perceive his death. It's pretty crazy. It's  just so crazy to think just how different she becomes after she finds out."

Does Enid know what her letter from Carl says?

Nope.

But Nacon hints that she definitely will receive that letter from Carl at some point this season.

"No. They gave me a piece of paper, it just said Enid on the back and it was a blank piece of paper," said Nacon of the "Walking Dead" crew's secrecy on set. " I was like, OK guys, thanks for the emotional help."

What she's most excited for people to see this season

Nacon can't wait for fans to see the aftermath of how everyone reacts to Carl's death, not just her own character.

"It really does impact the rest of the season, and the rest of the show," says Nacon. "You see a shift in every single character and it's crazy how much it changes each person, and affects their point of view of the world. It carries on throughout the rest of the season. So I'm really excited for people to see that."

Before Carl's imminent death on last week's mid-season premiere of "The Walking Dead," he wrote a stack of letters to his friends and loved ones. 

They're currently in Rick and Michonne's possession. And though we briefly saw one Sunday night, fans have no idea what the others say. It's not just viewers who don't know the contents of those letters.

"I don't know really know what's going to happen or really what any of the letters say," Chandler Riggs told press recently. "I just kind of improvised and wrote down a bunch of random stuff on the letters on the day [I was filming]."

Katelyn Nacon, who plays Carl's love interest Enid, doesn't know what's inside her letter from Carl, but it sounds like she will receive it at some point.

"They gave me a piece of paper, it just said Enid on the back and it was a blank piece of paper. I was like, 'OK guys, thanks for the emotional help,'" Nacon told INSIDER.

"If you ever write something down on the show, they're very specific about how it looks and what it says, so that would make sense," Nacon added about how secretive the show is when it comes to details like that.

The star isn't surprised that Carl wrote a letter to Negan though since the two had an interesting relationship.

"I definitely didn't see it coming, but I feel like it doesn't surprise me that Carl would do that, especially with where his character was ending up, and the philosophy that he kind of discovered before his death," Nacon said. "It doesn't surprise me that he would write a note to Negan. As an audience member, yes, but if you actually understand Carl's character, it makes a lot of sense especially with where he was in his last minutes."

"The Walking Dead" just said goodbye to some major characters on last week's mid-season premiere, but Sunday's episode proved the show wasn't done killing off cast members just yet.

While Carl's death may have left fans grossly upset, Sunday's departures left fans cheering after an unexpected development.

Last chance to head back before spoilers.

In a surprise turn of events, Simon marched a group of Saviors to the Scavenger junkyard and slaughtered all of Jadis' clan in front of her.

The move caught fans off guard since Negan told Simon to only kill one of Jadis' group for backstabbing them.

But many fans were delighted to see Simon deliberately disobey the Savior leader.

Many agreed it was long overdue.

Now people are saying Simon may be a bigger threat than Negan. That is, if his days aren't already numbered.

Call them what you want — the junkyard gang, Scavengers, heapsters, garbage people — but Jadis' group long overstayed their welcome on the show.

The only characters who served any importance other than Jadis were her two closest allies, an underdeveloped Tamiel and Brion. The two did more grunting than speaking most episodes. The rest of the Scavengers, of which there were tens, were background characters. 

The group, an extension of one briefly seen in the comics, was first introduced in the second half of season seven when they kidnapped Father Gabriel.

They looked like they may be another worthy adversary for Rick and company, but as they flip-flopped allegiances between Rick and Negan they wound up an underwhelming bunch who weren't adding much to the ongoing war. 

They also started to become an annoyance to the fandom.

Any time they were on screen, fans were bothered by their short, truncated and broken speech. Jadis and her entire group spoke like cavemen only answering in one or two words or broken sentences. 

Executive producer David Alpert told HuffPo their broken speech was reflective of a group of people developing "their own speech patterns and habits" once cut off from the world. Actress Pollyanna McIntosh, who plays Jadis, described it as more of an intimidation ploy on her part to Comicbook.com.

And though Jadis explained to Rick that they just didn't see it as necessary to speak that much, it confused many people who were tuning in to "The Walking Dead" week after week.

As we saw Sunday night, Jadis isn't incapable of forming complete sentences. Similar to Ezekiel, Jadis' group seemed to be putting on a show of its own, something that they needed to survive. 

"It was like a way of life. It was like a new way of surviving that she [Jadis] had come up with and their speech pattern was a part of that,""The Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman explained on aftershow "Talking Dead" about the heapster's broken speech. "But now that everything has been destroyed and she's alone on her own, you know, it's like the jig is up and she's completely broken from that. So, she's given up and gone back to talking normal."

Still, it was just too weird for fans to accept. 

Plus, there was that downright weird scene on season eight's sixth episode where Jadis was painting in the nude. And there was her creepy obsession with Rick. 

The purge of the junkyard gang may be another step in correcting some of the show's mistakes. 

It's interesting this change comes on an episode that is co-written by Angela Kang, who will be taking over as showrunner from Scott M. Gimple during the show's ninth season. 

Perhaps this is the first of many changes we'll see to the show when Kang takes over.

Sunday's episode of "The Walking Dead,""The Lost and the Plunderers," showed a grieving Michonne and Rick trying to hold it together after Carl's death in the mid-season premiere. 

As they drove off from Alexandria, Michonne started going through the many letters Carl wrote to friends and family before his demise. It was one of those letters in the large stack that caught both Michonne and viewers off guard. 

Last chance to head back before spoilers. 

Among letters written to Michonne, Rick, and his apocalypse girlfriend Enid, Michonne was surprised to find a note to Negan, the leader of the Saviors. 

Instead of giving an immediate response, Rick says he needs to speak with Jadis, the leader of the Scavengers, to gather their weapons and people in their cause against Negan. 

However, when Rick and Michonne discover that all of them except Jadis were wiped out by the Saviors, the two head back out on the road. It's there, Michonne suggests that maybe this is what his son Carl was talking about in his final moments. They have a choice of what to do with those who are still living.

That gets to Rick. 

He pulls over to the side of the road and takes Carl's letters with him. Instead of opening his own, he goes straight to Negan's. He opens it up and we see it for a brief moment.

We never get a great look at the full letter on screen. Instead, Rick gives Negan a call over the long range walkie talkie. Instead of enlightening him about the mass slaughter committed by his Saviors — something that would have been in Rick's favor — Rick informs Negan that Carl is dead. 

After telling him how it happened, he tells him a summary of the letter's contents. 

"He asked you to stop. He asked me to stop. He asked us for peace," Rick tells Negan.

But that's not all it said.

INSIDER went back through the small flash of the letter shown on screen and you can make out quite a lot of what Carl wrote to Negan.

While you can't read all of it, here's what we could make out along with our best guesses in brackets:

Negan,

This is Carl. Back when I ... someone. I got bit. We didn't even have ... doing. I was just helping someone ...
You might be gone. Maybe my dad made ... [maybe] he killed you — but I don't think so. I think you're ... working on a way out. Maybe you got out. Maybe ... lost cause and you just want to kill all of us.
I think you have to be who you are. I [just] ... what you wanted. I wanted to ask you ...

Maybe you'll beat us. If you do, there'll just be someone [else.] The way out is working together. It's forgiveness. It's believing [there doesn't] have to be a fight anymore. Because ... 

... offers you peace ... everything can change.

Start [over].

The important takeaway here is that Negan is receptive of Carl's wishes when Rick tells him about his son's death. He wouldn't mind making some sort of peace. He tells Rick he saw Carl as the future of this world. As evidenced earlier in Sunday's episode, and earlier in the season if you've been watching closely, Negan doesn't want to kill every living human. He sees people as a resource and a necessity to keeping what's left of the world alive.

In his mind, that's why his group is called the Saviors. Of course, he's not able to currently see that not all of the men in his group share that same philosophy. (Simon just slaughtered all of the Scavengers.)

It's Rick who needs to be convinced. He's currently blinded by a rage and vengeance where he simply wants to lash out at and kill Negan when it's not really clear what that will solve at the current moment. 

Negan smartly calls Rick out. He tells him Carl is dead because of him, because Rick didn't "stop him from doing something stupid." Now, sure, Negan has a bit of an inflated ego and tells Rick that's he is someone who stops people from dying, but he does make one valid point.

"It may have taken a hard lesson for you to hear it, but you should hear it now. It's time," Negan tells Rick. "Do not let any more of your sh-- decisions cost you to lose anyone else you love. That garbage, it sticks with you, forever, just like Carl will."

Here's the crazy thing. Negan's not all wrong! Rick has made some awful decisions that have led to the deaths of others. There have been lists made about Rick's poor leadership skills. 

As teased in the mid-season premiere, it looks like Rick will eventually realize his son and Negan are right. They can't continue this inane fight. It will just take some time, like five or so more episodes, and maybe the opening of Rick's letter from Carl.

"Phantom Thread" costume designer Mark Bridges had arguably the most impressive night of anyone at the 90th Academy Awards on Sunday, taking home both an Oscar and a Jet Ski worth $18,000. 

In his opening monologue for the ceremony, Oscar host Jimmy Kimmel offered up the Jet Ski as a game-show-like prize to the Oscar winner who gave the shortest acceptance speech.

Kimmel held a stopwatch, saying, "I will be timing you," while actress Helen Mirren showed off the Jet Ski in the manner of a game-show assistant. 

Numerous winners, including Jordan Peele (winner of best original screenplay for "Get Out"), jokingly mentioned the Jet Ski as they began their speeches. But Bridges ended up giving the shortest speech at 36 seconds.

As the ceremony closed, Bridges got on the Jet Ski with his Oscar in hand and Helen Mirren sitting behind him. 

Bridges took home the only Oscar for Paul Thomas Anderson's "Phantom Thread," which was nominated for five other awards, including best picture.

Sunday's "The Walking Dead" caught viewers off guard when Jadis' Scavenger group was annihilated on Simon's command.

The Saviors murdered every member of the junkyard gang except for its leader, Jadis (Pollyanna McIntosh). After Rick refused to help out Jadis later on the episode, some fans were quick to think we might be seeing the origins of the show's next villain, Alpha.

Who is Alpha?

She's the leader of a group called the Whisperers who were introduced in issue No. 130 of the comic series. 

The group wanders around wearing masks made out of zombie skin to blend in with the undead. They often travel in packs of the undead undetected.

Pretty smart.

The Whisperer group comes in direct conflict with Rick and Negan's groups after their war is over. 

Since the All Out War storyline of season eight is expected to wrap up on season eight, the Whisperers could certainly be on their way.

But could Alpha really be Jadis? 

Don't count on it.

Pollyanna McIntosh, who plays Jadis, told Entertainment Weekly she has asked showrunner Scott M. Gimple in the past whether or not Jadis becomes Alpha, and he's made it clear they're not one and the same.

"He's said publicly and to me, 'It's a completely different thing. It's not you,"said McIntosh about whether or not Jadis is Alpha. "And I say, 'Fine, OK.'"

I think it's more likely we'll see some other new character come in at some point if we go the Whisperer route. A crazier thought? I wouldn't mind seeing the show switch things up and make another longtime character the Whisperer leader.

There is that entire group of women just hanging out at Oceanside. I'm just not sure if they'd be into covering themselves in walker skin.

• ESPN has named Disney executive James Pitaro as its new president.
• Pitaro had been the chairman of Disney consumer products and interactive media since 2016.

ESPN has named Disney executive James Pitaro as its new president, the company announced Monday.

Pitaro had been a leading candidate for the job since John Skipper left the position in December, citing substance abuse issues, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Pitaro has also been named the cochair of Disney Media Network and will report directly to Disney CEO Bob Iger, Disney said in a release.

Pitaro had been the chairman of Disney consumer products and interactive media since 2016. He was formerly a vice president and head of Yahoo! Media.

"Jimmy is a talented and dedicated leader with the right strategic vision, relentless drive and passion for sports required to lead the stellar ESPN team at this incredibly dynamic time," Iger said in a statement. "Jimmy forged his career at the intersection of technology, sports and media, and his vast experience and keen perspective will be invaluable in taking ESPN into the future."

Pitaro has reportedly been a longtime favorite of Iger's, who previously wanted Pitaro to serve as Skipper's No. 2 at ESPN, according to Recode.

Pitaro joins ESPN, a top performing asset for Disney, at a time of turmoil for the sports media company. ESPN's subscriber base has narrowed significantly due to cord-cutting in recent years, dropping from its peak at 100 million in 2010, to around 88 million in recent months.

In a release, ESPN touted Pitaro's hiring as coming at "a time of great opportunity" for the company, as ESPN is prepping the launch of its new direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service, ESPN+.

Fans of "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette," know by now that anything can happen when contestants are vying for one person's heart and they're being taped. From broken hearts to surprising secrets, there is always some drama on the ABC reality dating show. 

Part one of the "The Bachelor" season 22 finale aired on Monday and featured one of the most shocking moments in "Bachelor" history: ABC aired an unedited version of Arie Luyendyk Jr. breaking up with his fiancée Rebecca Kufrin. 

Here's a look back at 21 of the wildest "Bachelor" moments: 

Jesse Palmer picks the wrong woman.

The football player messed up during a rose ceremony when he called out the wrong name. He gave a rose to Katie Gehart when he meant to give it to Karen Lindsay. He pulled host Chris Harrison aside to tell him. Gehart was given the option to stay, which she did. 

Wes Hayden has a girlfriend.

Hayden went on Jillian Harris' season of "The Bachelorette" with bad intentions, but nothing was quite as surprising as his limo revelation. After making it to the top four and then being rejected, he bragged about having a girlfriend the entire time as the limo was taking him away.

"I'm going down in flames," he said. "The first guy on 'The Bachelorette' to ever make it to the top four with a girlfriend."

Jason Mesnick changes his mind.

Mesnick became the bachelor for its 13th season, having been a runner-up on "The Bachelorette" season four. He picked Melissa Rycroft, but on the "After the Final Rose" special episode, Mesnick revealed that he changed his mind. He broke up with Rycroft on TV and asked runner-up Molly Malaney if she wanted to give him another try. She said yes, and the couple has now been married since 2010. 

• President Trump took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to blast the record-low TV ratings for the Oscars.
• The 90th Academy Awards on Sunday was the least watched in Oscars history with only 26.5 million viewers — a 19% drop from last year's ceremony.
• Trump tweeted: "Lowest rated Oscars in HISTORY. Problem is, we don’t have Stars anymore – except your President (just kidding, of course)!"
• A number of factors — outside of Hollywood star power — likely played into the ratings drop, including lack of interest in nominated films and a general decrease in viewership for live events.

President Trump took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to mock the record-low TV ratings for the Oscars.

The 90th Academy Awards on Sunday was the least watched in Oscars history with only 26.5 million viewers, representing a 19% drop from last year's ceremony.

Trump said the "problem" with the Oscars' ratings was that he was the only "star" nowadays.

Trump tweeted: "Lowest rated Oscars in HISTORY. Problem is, we don’t have Stars anymore – except your President (just kidding, of course)!"

Trump's tweets fit into a well-established pattern of him criticising Hollywood on Twitter. In January of last year, as president-elect, Trump called Meryl Streep "one of the most over-rated actresses in Hollywood," after Streep criticized Trump in a speech at the Golden Globes.

On the front of Oscars' ratings, a number of factors could have played into the show's drop this year.

As Business Insider's Jason Guerrasio noted on Monday, there wasn't great interest among the general audience in the movies that were favored for best picture. And most of the top categories were awarded along the same lines that Oscar pundits had been predicting for weeks.

The Oscars were also contending with a general trend toward decreased viewership for live TV events. The Super Bowl, for instance, saw its rating slip to a nine-year low this year.

Though Monday's finale of "The Bachelor" was anything but a fairytale, it included a proposal featuring a stunning ring courtesy of the show's go-to jeweler, Neil Lane. 

Arie Luyendyk Jr. chose a four-carat, platinum-set halo diamond ring worth $80,000 when he proposed to Becca Kufrin, according to Us Weekly. People magazine reported that it was actually three carats.

Though they showed him choosing the ring, the selection process was kept noticeably short on the broadcast, with Lane only showing him one ring. But according to Lane, Arie was conflicted when choosing a ring. 

This would later be a foreshadowing of the show's upcoming drama. 

"He was very indecisive and there was a hesitation — and he took the process very, very seriously," he told People magazine.  

Because of the controversial season finale, people were left wondering what would happen to the ring in the event of a "Bachelor" break up. "The Bachelor" is not required to pay for the ring, though it's a point of contention who actually forks over the money for it, according to Bustle. 

But that also means if contestants get engaged but break up before two years of being together, they must give it back.

Monday night's "Bachelor" finale quickly became one the wildest moments in the series' history. 

Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. proposed to Becca K. in Peru, sending a heartbroken Lauren B. home without a ring. 

When it seemed like they were going to live out their happily ever after, Luyendyk Jr. began having second thoughts. Instead of speaking with Becca privately, he invited her on a romantic weekend to hang out and then broke off their engagement on camera. 

"The more I hung out with you the more I felt like I was losing the possibility of maybe reconciling things with Lauren," Arie told Becca. "We left Peru and I didn't want to be as honest with you about how conflicted I was."

Becca told Arie she felt humiliated several times on screen in unedited footage aired on ABC. Fans were not happy with Arie's change of heart, calling the Bachelor out for rushing into a proposal if he wasn't sure who to pick.

But it's not just viewers who are throwing shade Arie's way for blindsiding Becca. 

Former "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" contestants, including Sean Lowe and JoJo Fletcher, are also calling out Arie for filming the break up. 

Tuesday night's special episode and conclusion of "The Bachelor" will show Arie sit down with both Lauren and Becca. 

According to "Bachelor" guru Reality Steve, Arie will win back Lauren's heart. Bachelor Nation will see if that's the case Tuesday night at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Bekah Martinez — aka Bekah M.— was a stand out from this season of "The Bachelor" from pretty much day one. Not only did she initially refuse to say her age — she later revealed she's 22 — but she made headlines for being reported as a missing person by her mother while she may have been on the show. 

Since then, she's stolen hearts with her honesty and humor on social media, and her commentary on Monday's finale was no exception. Martinez took to Twitter to eviscerate her ex and current Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr.

This post contains spoilers for the finale of "The Bachelor" so read on with caution. 

After Luyendyk's on-camera break up with winner Becca Kufrin in favor of runner-up Lauren Burnham, Martinez slammed him for sticking around after Kufrin repeatedly asked him to leave the home.

But Martinez was far from done. She also shared screenshots of direct messages allegedly from Luyendyk. 

"Dm'ing your ex is a good look too," she captioned the screenshots. 

The first message allegedly from Luyendyk contained a photo with a text saying "Just realized you were born the same year as my first 2-on-1." If he's referencing a 2-on-1 date on the show, this is, of course, false because he appeared in Emily Maynard's "Bachelorette" season in 2012, and Martinez was born in 1995. This was likely just a crack at her age — a sore spot for her on the show 

The second message contained a meme of Martinez's face on a milk carton, a reference to her missing person's report, with a text allegedly from Luyendyk.

"This may just win the internet today. Such a shame they didn't use your license photo," he apparently wrote.

"lol I MADE THAT," she wrote back. "So there was no way in hell I was using my license photo ... haha"

"So good," he apparently replied. "You seriously crack me up. I hope all is well."

When some fans apparently told her that he was just trying to be friendly, Martinez wasn't having it. 

"Yeah Arie was probably being friendly but guess what I DON'T [sic] CARE HAHAHAH, BOY BYEEEEE," she wrote. 

Especially with many people's frustrations about the finale, fans were loving Martinez's honesty.

Last night's episode of "The Bachelor" ended with a shocking turn of events. After initially choosing Becca over Lauren and proposing to her, Arie turned around and broke off the engagement to Becca. Arie reportedly reconnected with Lauren (and now they are reportedly engaged instead). 

After the whirlwind of heartbreaking events, fans are reaching out to Becca through digital payment app Venmo and sending her money. 

As first spotted by reporter McKenna Keil, the Venmo payments can be seen under Becca's full name: Rebecca Kufrin.

INSIDER was able to verify the existence of more payments through the Venmo app — and some of the payment notes are hilarious. 

"For the uber ride to pawn that ring," one person wrote.

Another fan, identified as Michael Meyer on Venmo, wrote a whole poem:

"Roses are red, violets are blue
Arie's a dick, this much is true
Go grab a drink and celebrate
Cuz damn girl you'd make one helluva date"

Though the posts don't reveal the amount of money sent by each person, INSIDER counted more than 70 public payments sent to Becca as of 10:30 a.m. EST today.

According to Reality Steve, Becca and Arie were engaged from the time the show finished filming up until around mid-January of this year. The ABC camera crew was on hand to capture the brutal break-up (which aired on Monday's episode of "The Bachelor"). 

Becca has yet to publicly acknowledge the flood of money coming from fans. Her only social media tweet since the airing of the break-up episode was a simple tweet: "Deep down, I knew."

Fox wants to cut the TV ad time on its broadcast network to just two minutes per hour by the year 2020, the company said in a "private industry event" on Monday, The Wall Street Journal reports. 

Fox Network Group's ad sales chief, Joe Marchese, stated the goal in his closing remarks of the meeting, saying that he wants the company to look at selling ads based on the time viewers spend with ads, as opposed to the number of views the ads receive, according to WSJ. 

Fox's ad goal would be a drastic drop from the industry average. According to Nielsen, the average per-hour ad content on ran just over 13 minutes on network TV in 2017, and 16 minutes on cable. 

"The two minutes per hour is a real target for Fox, and also our challenge for the industry," Ed Davis, chief product officer for ad sales at Fox Networks Group, wrote in an email to WSJ. "Creating a sustainable model for ad-supported storytelling will require us all to move."

Davis told WSJ that Fox reduced ad time by 75% on its on-demand FX Originals in 2017, and that the company "saw great effectiveness in brand lift."

Fox's goal follows NBCUniversal's reported decision last week to cut its commercial content by 20% across all of its networks for the coming fall season.  

The networks' moves toward hosting less ad time come as broadcast audiences are shifting en masse toward subscription streaming services like Netflix and Hulu, which offer either no ads or comparatively limited advertising.
