Drew Scott, of the HGTV "Property Brothers" duo Jonathan and Drew Scott, advanced Monday night to the season finale of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars."Fans of the show aren't happy.

The most shocking twist, Inquisitr noted, is that Scott defeated Victoria Arlen. Arlen is a darling of the show. She spent 10 years paralyzed, half of them in a vegetative state.

After waking up, she trained and became a gold medal winner at the 2012 London Paralympics, for swimming. Then she learned how to walk, then dance, and got near-perfect scores on "Dancing with the Stars."

The Property Brothers have their fans, but he just doesn't seem as impressive as Arlen. Some people even think the show is rigged.

Scott, for what it's worth, seems like a generous winner.

"Victoria, you truly are one of the kindest, most driven and fun loving people l have ever met,"he wrote on Instagram. "Thank you for making every day on #DWTS one to remember."

Warning: Spoilers ahead for "Stranger Things" season two.

 The season finale of "Stranger Things 2" ended on a heartfelt note with Eleven and Mike reunited at the Snow Ball. But an almost sweeter moment came minutes earlier when it was revealed that Jim Hopper had acquired official documents naming Eleven (now Jane Hopper) as his daughter. 

But how will these relationships play out in the coming seasons? INSIDER spoke with David Harbour about the new father-daughter dynamic between Hopper and Eleven.

"One of the fun things moving forward in terms of this new family we have with Hopper and Eleven — and the fact that she's becoming a teenager and a young woman — is I think that is going to be infinitely complex and f----- up for Hopper," Harbour said. "I don't think he knows how to handle this at all."

Hopper has known that Mike and Eleven have a burgeoning preteen romance, and even seemed to conveniently choose to interrupt what was about to be their first kiss of season two.

"[Laughing] People were so mad about that!" Harbour said. "Whatever. It was the wrong time, all right? There's a time and place. We gotta go to the lab and kill some Demodogs godd-----, and close the gate. There's no time for kissing! I can't believe that people were mad at me over that."

Harbour said his character is clearly trying to be supportive, though, given how he approached the Snow Ball at the end of season two.

"But look, I brought her to the dance and I was well aware of what would happen," Harbour said. "And I let her go in by herself and I waited outside with Joyce, all right?"

Hopper even gave Eleven his special bracelet (which used to be his daughter Sara's hair tie) to wear to the Snow Ball. 

But Harbour says he can definitely envision a future scene where Hopper needs to have the "dad talk" with Mike about dating his newly adopted daughter as the kids enter high school. 

"The fun thing about the dad aspect of Hopper is going to be how he handles a teenage daughter and her relationship to a boy like Mike," Harbour said. "So there may be that conversation where he has to sit Mike down on the couch when he comes calling for the date and she's getting ready, and Hopper will be like 'Sit on the couch — what are your intentions with my daughter?'"

"That scene may be coming in season three," Harbour said. "I would relish that, because the amount of difficulty it'd take for Hopper to do that is going to be pretty hysterical."

We'll have to wait for "Stranger Things" season three to see exactly how this dynamic will play out, but as Harbour assures fans, it's guaranteed to be interesting.

• "Get Out" will be competing as a comedy at the Golden Globes.

• In any case, this is all probably part of a strategy that makes "Get Out" more likely to win awards.

"Get Out"— Jordan Peele's biting horror movie about race released earlier this year — will be competing in the Golden Globes as a comedy instead of a drama, according to Entertainment Weekly.

People aren't happy.

"If I can be honest this is weird to me. [There] is nothing funny about racism,"tweeted comedian Lil Rel Howery, an actor in the movie. "Was it that unrealistic?"

"'Get Out' is a documentary,"tweeted Peele, probably sarcastically in response to people's reactions.

Some fans think that categorizing the movie as a comedy as opposed to a drama demeans the movie. "Get Out" is a terrifying movie about racism, they argue, and considering it a comedy trivializes that terror.

But others are fine with the "comedy" label. Being funny is hardly a bad thing.

"People look at genre movies as joke and not real art," Jason Blum, the movie's producer, told Variety. "Some of our movies are better than others. But I’m very invested in everything I do. I don’t want to make something unless I’m in love with it."

Peele himself agreed with the sentiment in an interview with CBS News. He said weaving comedy into the movie was important.

"I'm putting my audience through a lot of tension," Peele said. "Lil Rey Howery, who plays Rod, he's kind of the release valve for the audience."

And Howery, later on, seemed fine with the categorization.

In any case, it's important to remember that Golden Globes categorization is little more than an awards season strategy. The Globes has two main categories for movies to compete in: comedy or musical, and drama. The drama category is generally more competitive, so a studio will submit movies that may be on the line between comedy and drama to increase the movie's chance of winning.

The same sort of controversy erupted in 2013, when "The Wolf of Wall Street" was categorized as a comedy. It paid off, with Leonardo DiCaprio winning the best actor award in his category.

Entertainment Weekly speculates that, as a comedy, "Get Out" will be competing against "The Greatest Showman,""The Disaster Artist,""The Big Sick,""I, Tonya,""Downsizing,""Battle of the Sexes," and "Lady Bird." It's tough competition, to be sure, but the drama category would include heavyweights like "Call Me By Your Name,""Darkest Hour,""Dunkirk,""The Post," and "The Shape of Water."

As a comedy, "Get Out" may have a better chance with awards season glory.

Fans of the young cast of "Stranger Things" have been the subject of an ongoing controversy over fans' inappropriate behavior towards the child stars — and now celebrities are weighing in. 

After photos of Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) at the "Stranger Things 2" premiere were released, one viral tweet commenting on her appearance struck a nerve. Mike Sington, a retired NBC executive, shared photos of Brown on the red carpet and captioned them: "Millie Bobby Brown just grew up in front of our eyes. (She's 13!)"

The tweet gained traction and was criticized for inaccurately and inappropriately describing Brown as "grown up." Then former child star and "Matilda" actress Mara Wilson retweeted Sington's comment, saying, "Knock it the f--- off."

Two days later, Sington released a statement on Twitter in regards to the tweet about Brown.

Here's part of Sington's statement:

Looking back, I can see how some could interpret commenting on the grown up look of a child as contributing to the objectification or even sexualization of a minor, and I appreciate those of you that brought this to my attention. That was never my intent, and I sincerely regret if anyone thought it was.

Wilson writes new op-ed speaking out

The conversation has continued beyond last week, with more people coming out against the sexualization of the young "Stranger Things" stars. Wilson has now followed up on her tweets with an op-ed in Elle Magazine.

"I felt sick, and then I felt furious," Wilson wrote in regards to seeing Sington's tweet. "A 13-year-old girl is not all grown up. And even if she had been what we consider grown up, that is not newsworthy."

Wilson detailed her own accounts of being sexualized by adult fans when she was young, including recieving inappropriate letters from male fans or being Photoshopped into child pornography. 

She emphasized the important role the current digital climate and media have when it comes to putting young actors at risk.

"What's really at play here is the creepy, inappropriate public inclination to sexualize young girls in the media,"Wilson writes. "We do not need to perpetuate the culture of dehumanization Hollywood has enabled."

Fans' treatment of Finn Wolfhard has also been the subject of controversy

Wilson isn't the only celebrity who has stepped forward in recent weeks to defend the young "Stranger Things" cast against misbehaving or abusive fans.

Actress Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark on "Game of Thrones") posted several tweets after reports came out of adult fans getting angry at 14-year-old Finn Wolfhard for not stopping to talk to them outside of his hotel.

"They are kids first," Turner wrote. "Give them the space they need in order to grow without feeling like they owe anyone anything for living their childhood dreams."

Here's a longer section of Turner's statement on the treatment of the young stars:

Imagine you, a parent, walking with your 13 year old son/daughter and seeing a fully grown adult pointing their camera phone at your kid. You would do anything you could to delete that person's photograph, and remove your child from that situation as soon as you could. 

Though Turner's comments weren't directly about the sexualization of Wolfhard, he had also been the subject of conversations about inappropriate comments made by adults.

A 27-year-old model, Ali Micheal, came under scrutiny after she posted an Instagram story that included a photo of 14-year-old Wolfhard and text saying: "Not to be weird but hit me up in few years."

Following this, Affinity Magazine published an article titled "Stop Sexualizing Kids, And Yes That Includes Finn Wolfhard." Michael later apologized for the comment, saying it was "absolutely a joke."

Though Wolfhard didn't address the comment from Michael specifically, he later tweeted a statement after noticing "fans" were harassing his friends and co-stars.

"I don't wanna ex-communicate anyone from this fandom, but if you are for real you will not harass my friends, or co-workers," Wolfhard wrote. "Ya'll know who you are."

Hopefully the added attention from stars like Mara Wilson and Sophie Turner will help quell future inappropriate conversations over the young "Stranger Things" cast and their physical appearances as they continue starring in Netflix's hit series.

Wednesday's episode of "Riverdale" was one wild ride.

And like always, the show managed to feature some great pop culture and comic references, which INSIDER worked with Archie Comics to reveal. 

Here are seven details you might have missed.

Cheryl Blossom refers to Betty as "Invisible Woman."

When Betty visits Cheryl on the basis of checking in on her, Cheryl tells her, "I see right through you, 'Invisible Woman.'"

This is a reference to a character from Marvel Comics' "Fantastic Four." 

Cheryl has referenced other comic characters, including DC Comics' Poison Ivy, who has actually met Betty and Veronica in an Archie/DC crossover.  

Additionally, though not related, Marvel also has a villainous monster called Sugar Man, like the drug dealer on "Riverdale." 

After getting in trouble for partying and doing drugs, the Riverdale teens picked up trash in Pickens Park.

In the Archie comics, Pickens Parks is a community park named after a Civil War hero, General Pickens.

Betty working on Reggie's car wasn't completely random.

In the comics, Betty is known for her mechanic skills and has a passion for cars.

After a season finale last year, "Mythbusters" is back — with all new hosts.

It features the same myth-busting we known and love, but with new people doing the busting. If you loved the original premise, you'd definitely love the reboot.

Why should you care: Mythbusters is back from the dead. 

Discovery Channel's "Mythbusters" ended its 14-season run last year. It left behind a legacy of getting a generation of TV viewers fascinated in science and how the world worked. Viewers also loved hosts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, who had excellent onscreen chemistry, as well as their "Build Team" who held their own experiments.

But behind the scenes, Savage and Hyneman had some friction. Ahead of the finale, Savage told INSIDER that he wasn't interested in working with Hyneman ever again.

But Science, Discovery's sister channel, wanted to make more. So it ran a reality show contest to pick the new hosts of the show. They settled on Jon Lung and Brian Louden, who are both scientists in their own right, though neither has a walrus moustache.

What's hot: The same inventive myth-busting.

The original "Mythbusters" was known for its creativity. How do you test whether dropping a penny from the Empire State Building would really kill someone? Why just design a gun that fires a penny at the same speed it would be if dropped from that height, of course.

Science's reboot doesn't mess with the formula. The new season includes a fun and creative test of whether, for example, there would be a dramatic pause between slicing something with a sword and that thing revealing its cut. It's a TV and movie trope called "delayed causality." Lung and Louden rig up all sorts of contraptions to figure it out. It's a lot of fun.

What's not: Lung and Louden don't have the same chemistry as Savage and Hyneman. Yet.

Look, Lung and Louden are fine. They're perfectly serviceable as hosts and pretty funny themselves. But Hyneman and Savage had something magical, and they don't quite match it, based on the first couple of episodes of the season viewed by INSIDER. We're sure that'll improve as the show continues.

The bottom-line: It's still "Mythbusters."

In the end, we're all here to see myths get busted. The "Mythbusters" reboot pulls that off and has fun along the way.

Netflix made a deal with Marvel Comics back in 2013 to produce four Marvel-universe shows and a mini-series.

The deal has since been expanded, and on Friday, Netflix released its sixth Marvel show, "The Punisher," which early reviews are mixed on. 

To find out which of the shows have fared the best, we turned to review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes for the composite critical receptions of each Marvel series. 

Here are Netflix's six original Marvel shows, ranked from worst to best, according to critics:

5. "Iron Fist"— 17%

Critic score: 17%

Critic score: 67%

Warning: There are some spoilers ahead for Netflix's Marvel show "The Punisher" and "The Defenders."

Netflix's "Daredevil" spin-off "The Punisher" is finally streaming and it reunites Jon Bernthal's no-nonsense antihero Frank Castle with reporter Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll).

The two shared a great chemistry in the second season of "Daredevil," so heading into "Punisher" fans may have been wondering if the two would become more than friends. It doesn't seem like it could be out of the question.

"Jon and I have talked about that a lot and we certainly feel like there's room for that," Woll told INSIDER of a potential romance brewing between the two characters. 

The groundwork is already there in the show's first season. Castle gives Page a tender kiss on the cheek after a heart-to-heart on episode five. After saving her life near the season's end, there's a moment where the two come close to a kiss. Before anything can happen, Karen backs away from Frank and tells him to escape as he looks at her with teary eyes.

However, the current season of "Punisher" may have been too early for some sparks to fly with Page being a popular reporter and Castle presumed dead to most of the world after the second season of "Daredevil."

"Obviously right now his [Frank's] whole story is about avenging his wife and his children that he loved so deeply. I wouldn't want Karen to step on that until he found some closure," continued Woll. "I also think it's interesting to have a male/female relationship that isn't necessarily immediately romantic."

"I think it's the only honest relationship that either of them have," Woll said of Karen's relationship with Frank. "Karen is hiding as much as anyone else. She might attract you with shoulder pads and killer curves, but that's just a way to say, 'Hey don't look deeper, because you might not like what you find.' She can't share that side of herself with Matt or Foggy because chances are they'll reject her, but Frank didn't and wouldn't. He saw past all of that, and he accepted it. And I think that that's a really powerful feeling. It's part of what kept them connected. Despite everything that Frank was doing, she really tried to understand him and hoped that he could understand her."

Even though the show hasn't paired them together, Woll said she and Bernthal gave options for the show to play with while putting together their scenes knowing that their two characters have a chemistry.

"I think Jon and I, we played with those levels a lot, filming 'Punisher.' There were definitely takes where we went further with that concept and then others where we kept it more contextual," said Woll. "It'll be up to the writers, the directors, Marvel in the end about how far they want to take that storyline. But there's certainly room for it, and Jon and I are interested in exploring that area."

If Punisher and Karen ever became a thing, it might not be a relationship that sits well with Karen's ex, Matt Murdock/Daredevil. If you're worried about a potential love triangle between Karen, Punisher, and Daredevil at some point in the future, Woll says that's not a concern.

"Right now there's no contest," said Woll. "As far as I know, he's dead."

The last time we saw Matt, he was presumed dead at the end of "The Defenders" by his pals. Of course, we know that's not the case as he was teased alive at the show's very end. 

Still, tough break Daredevil.

"But also, I think Karen doesn't think Matt's dead," Woll added quickly. "I think that there's hope alive, and there's feeling there. But you know, she can't tell him [Matt] who she really is. He has a higher moralistic conscience than Frank does. And if she has to say, 'Hey, I shot a guy and covered it up,' I think Karen would feel pretty assured of rejection from him where, I wouldn't feel that with Frank."

"The Punisher" is now streaming on Netflix.

Sunday's episode of "The Walking Dead" finally showed the aftermath of the season eight premiere. What transpired between Negan and Gabriel when they were trapped together in a trailer surrounded by zombies?

After some bickering, a few confessions on both sides, and a punch in the nose, the two made it out alive. Father Gabriel had every opportunity to take Negan out right there — he even tried shooting at him up close and missed — but he didn't.

It may have left some fans frustrated that another character has gotten so close to killing the show's big villain only to come up short, but actor Seth Gilliam, who plays Gabriel on the show, doesn't think he's the right man for the job.

"I'm not sure that Father Gabriel's feeling pretty confident in his ability to handle a gun at this point," Gilliam told INSIDER. "He's had Negan dead to right at least twice. In the season [seven] finale, as he's driving away, Negan's close enough to flip him the bird. Father Gabriel's got a fully-loaded automatic weapon and he can't hit the side of a barn."

Poor Gabriel.

"Inside of the trailer, they were like within a foot of each other, [Gabriel] tries again, he winds up getting the gun knocked out of his hand. I'm not sure that he's feeling so confident that he could [kill Negan]," adds Gilliam. "At this point, also, there's the walkers outside. You know, and perhaps, Negan's been so close to that that he enjoys him [and] Father Gabriel's way of thinking that working together is the only solution for him to live and get out of there together."

In the end, it seems like even if Gabriel wanted to kill Negan, it was truly in his best interest to keep his enemy close to make it out of the zombie-surrounded trailer alive. Working together may have even made Gabriel — or Gabe as Negan calls him — see the Savior leader in a different light, but only a little.

"I think he had a little bit more respect for his [Negan's] position. He adjusted himself to be important to leading a group of people. That [Negan's] thinking beyond himself, in some strange way, we have to respect that," said Gilliam of Gabriel's thoughts on Negan after their heart-to-heart in the trailer. "Also, I think Gabriel said along the lines Negan has sensed that people are an asset. You don't let them go if there's a chance for redemption."

What's going on — was Gabriel bit or scratched by a walker while making a beeline for safety with Negan?

"He definitely looks feverish," Seth Gilliam, who plays Father Gabriel, told INSIDER with a chuckle. "It's one of those things that we'll have to see how it plays out."

It certainly didn't look like he was faking it.

"No, it's not looking so good for Father Gabriel," added Gilliam. "It's hard to work yourself into a feverish sweat. I think that takes years of acting classes."

After going back and watching the scene over again with Negan and Gabriel among the walkers, there isn't an obvious scene where he's injured. However, we never get to see what happens when two walkers fall forward toward them late in the episode.

There is a point afterward where Negan tells his men to gently take Gabriel to a cell, but Gilliam chalks that up to Negan having more respect for Father Gabriel by the episode's end.

If Father Gabriel is on his deathbed, that would be a big departure from the comics. In Robert Kirkman's series, the priest makes it out alive from the war with Negan and doesn't die until after the next villains are introduced. 

In the comics, he faces a grisly death when he falls from a ladder and gets stuck upside down. When one of the group's new foes comes upon Gabriel he finishes the job by gutting him.

Gilliam is quick to point out that the show doesn't always a straight adaptation of the comics.

"They switch some things around so that it's not all predetermined by what's in the comics," Gilliam said of the show. "I'm not arguing for Gabriel going out on his deathbed or not. I'm just saying that it's conceivable that things could change and they often do."

That's true. Viewers were shocked when Andrea was killed off early in the show and that Carol has had such a different character trajectory than her comic counterpart. 

We'll have to wait to see what becomes of Father Gabriel, but it looks like he's not going to go down without a fight. Instead of focusing on himself, Gabriel tells Eugene they need to get Dr. Carson out of the Sanctuary and back to the Hilltop for Maggie's pregnancy.

At the start of the episode, Gabriel says that he wants to make sure that if he dies that it's for something meaningful. Did Gabriel come up with a scheme to get injured, see Doctor Carson, and get him out of there?

"Oh boy. That'd be good," said Gilliam. "I like the sound of that. I think Gabriel is looking for purpose... He's looking for whatever mission that he's hoping God will entrust him."

Sunday's episode of "The Walking Dead" finally gave us some answers about Negan and Gabriel, teased that Gabriel may be on his deathbed, and showed a giant fight between Daryl and Rick. One of the episode's other big moments came near its very end.

After Rick parted ways with a disgruntled Daryl, the Alexandria leader decides to go it alone by walking down a road. He's stopped in his tracks when he sees a helicopter fly overhead.

Even Rick seemed puzzled by what he saw in the sky. Could this be real? Is Rick hallucinating? 

Regardless, fans were taken aback by the unexpected scene.

Others wondered if Rick may be hallucinating.

Then there are others who think it may be hinting at something we haven't even seen in the comic yet.

We don't have a really great timeline of events, but looking at Judith's age, who was born during the apocalypse, we can assume it's been at least two years since the zombie outbreak began. (Some timelines suggest it's only been around 20 months.)

The last time we saw a significant flying helicopter in the series was during season three. After crashing a military helicopter in the woods, the surviving soldiers were killed by the Governor and his men.

Near the end of the show's pilot episode in 2010, Rick catches a glimpse of a helicopter in the reflection of a building. Though he chases it down on horseback, nothing ever comes of it. Instead, he winds up riding the horse into a zombie herd and gets trapped in a tank.

Presumably the same helicopter was seen in the season two finale causing a large herd to eventually wind up at Hershel's farm.

Could there possibly still be any sort of flying aircrafts after all this time? And, if so, who could it be? Is this the government, a connection to the series' "Fear the Walking Dead" spin-off, or a red herring?

We'll have to wait until next week to hopefully learn more. At the moment, it seems like Rick should be less concerned with what's flying overhead and more focused on the guns pointed at him in the distance that he's unaware of at the episode's end.

The next episode of "The Walking Dead" airs November 26.

After setting up a showdown between Rick and Daryl, Sunday's episode of "The Walking Dead" included the two fan favorites going head-to-head over how to handle the war with the Saviors. 

When the two found a box full of explosives, Daryl suggested they use it to end the war quickly and kill off the Saviors. After his recent conversation with Morales and some moral quandaries Rick quickly disagreed and said they're not doing that.

Daryl:"We could end this by sundown." 
Rick:"There are people in there who aren't fighters. Doing this could change that, make them pick up guns and stand by the Saviors ... We're not doing this."

Daryl wasn't OK with that response and it led to an all-out brawl between the two.

A lot of fans didn't know how to handle it.

Does it mean the bromance is over?

Probably not.

"This is one of those moments where they really don't agree," said producer Denise Huth on the series' aftershow "Talking Dead. "It felt like brothers having a fight."

"Like brothers do, you kind of beat the crap out of each other, and then you’re like, 'So what are we doing tonight?' So we have that relationship," Norman Reedus told EW about where Rick and Daryl stand with each other now. "We’re both still pissed at each other, but how far are you going to take it?"

Still, there was something else to take out of that little fight which may hint at where Rick and Daryl's relationship could be heading. And it's not great.

Daryl holds Rick in a choke hold. After they break up their fight, Rick tells Daryl that choke holds are illegal. Daryl says he knows. 

Fans pointed out Rick's line was a callback to season one when Shane had Daryl in a similar headlock.

The entire Rick and Daryl fight reminded a lot of people about Rick and Shane's relationship. We all know how that wound up. Naturally, people are concerned.

Hopefully, it's all water under the bridge and the two just need a little time to cool off. They clearly care for each other. When Rick noticed the TNT was about to explode, he got Daryl to turn his head so the two could run off from the blast. Like all families, they're just having a disagreement at the moment.

Sunday delivered one of the biggest episodes of "The Walking Dead" we've seen yet. Not only did Negan open up to Gabriel about his former wife, but things got heated between Rick and Daryl during the war, Rick spotted a helicopter, and things aren't looking so hot Gabriel.

Although there were a lot of big moments to focus on and break down, keep reading to see the smaller moments and callbacks to previous episodes you may have missed.

Gregory meets with the Saviors and gives a giant speech that references the title of the episode, "Big Scary U."

"I know how it is ... negotiating the slippery, steep terrain of managing resources and the population, and the Big Scary U ... which you might know. It's called the Unknown," Gregory told Negan.

Negan refers to Gabriel as creepy. It's a callback to the first time the Savior leader meets the priest.

"He bailed on your creepy a--," Negan said to Gabriel after Gregory ditches him at the Sanctuary.

The first time Negan met Gabriel at Alexandria he said he was a creepy dude.

"Holy crap," Negan said when Father Gabriel first pops up behind him in season seven's fourth episode. "You are creepy as sh--, sneaking up on me, wearing that collar with that freaky-a-- smile."

Negan was looking for Glenn's widow Maggie. Before Rick could say anything, Father Gabriel came up with a quick plan to lie and tell Negan she was dead so he wouldn't kidnap her.

• Selena Gomez performed for the first time since her kidney transplant this summer at the American Music Awards.
• Some viewers thought she lip-synced through her song "Wolves."
• Others think it was just a production error.

Selena Gomezperformed her single "Wolves" at the American Music Awards on Sunday night, but fans watching the show thought there was something off.

It looked like she was lip-syncing.

It was Gomez's first live performance since her kidney transplant this summer. It was a six-hour surgery, with a kidney donated by her close friend Francia Raisa, and she needed time to recover.

But a lot of the people watching her show theorized that she still wasn't totally better, and opted to lip-sync at the awards show instead.

Other fans think the oddness of the sound was just because of the audio production, which made her voice sound somewhat robotic, and didn't work so smoothly with the backup vocals.

Gomez herself hasn't publicly addressed the accusations. Her representatives didn't immediately respond to INSIDER's request for comment.
