DeMario Jackson speaks out on the "Bachelor in Paradise" scandal in a three-part interview on E! News that airs Monday and Tuesday.

In a tease from the interview, the reality show contestant at the center of a misconduct scandal that threatened to cancel the ABC "Bachelor" spinoff told E! News how much he and his family were emotionally impacted.

"It was stressful for me, mostly for my mother," DeMario said in a clip from the interview. "It's hard to see your mom cry every single day. It was very difficult. And my grandmother, and my aunts."

corinne and demario bachelor in paradiseOver the past few weeks, the show was rocked by allegations that Jackson, who first appeared on "The Bachelorette" season 13, allegedly engaged in sexual acts with Olympios when she was too intoxicated to give consent while the show's cameras rolled in Mexico.

"My dad, he kept me extremely strong and kept me grounded and humble, but having your mom cry every day for something that, like, you know you didn't do," Jackson continued.

According to a press release about Jackson's interview from E! on Monday, he shares details of what happened on the day of incident, the morning after, and the days to follow. He also shares his theory on why the incident escalated the way it did.

After an investigation, "Bachelor" producer Warner Bros. decided there was no misconduct found. Reportedly, production will resume in Mexico as early as this week. Jackson isn't expected to return, according to reports.

Meanwhile, Olympios' high-powered attorney, Marty Singer, has said that he's continuing to investigate the incident. Olympios has said she was a "victim" in the alleged incident, though she claims to remember very little about the night in question.

The difference between how millennials and baby boomers consume news, in one chart

How you stay informed on what’s happening in the world probably depends on your age.

That may not be a surprise, but a recent survey from the Reuters Institute puts the discrepancy in perspective: Digital outlets serve as the main source of news for the majority of those under 35, including 64% of those between the ages of 18 and 24. Meanwhile, TV still reigns supreme for 51% of those over 55.

Those in the middle have more of a mix, but this chart from Statista shows a clear trend: The older you are, the more likely you rely on traditional sources. If you grew up with the internet, you probably use the internet.

Whatever the case, the survey also seems to confirm that print media and radio are just less essential.

Hulu has a secret weapon that could give it an advantage over Netflix

the handmaid's tale hulu

When streaming pioneer Netflix introduced the concept of bringing TV and movies online back in 2007, the world could little have known the revolution in viewing that would follow.

Streaming was originally reserved for the tech-savvy consumer with the right combination of bandwidth, computing equipment, and know-how. Some even had the chops to link their computer and TV and bring the experience into the living room.

Now a mere 10 years later, Netflix has been so successful with its worldwide streaming service it has invited competition from all quarters, including Prime Video from Amazon.com, and Hulu, which is owned by a consortium of the largest U.S. broadcast networks, which includes Walt Disney Company, Twenty-First Century Fox, Comcast, and Time Warner.

Netflix's growing library of original and exclusive content has resulted in over 100 million subscribers around the globe. This has also resulted in negative cash flow and high levels of debt, which has some investors concerned for the future. This is one area where Hulu may have an advantage.

"Ad"ditional revenue

Hulu subscribers have two options: Hulu Plus for $7.99 per month, and Hulu Plus No Commercials for $11.99 per month. The basic free service was discontinued last year. Note that Netflix has eschewed advertising in any form.

Hulu currently has 15 million subscribers in the higher-paying, commercial-free tier and another 32 million who elect to watch advertising.

The company has taken a different path from Amazon and Netflix, embracing its advertising model. Hulu has even partnered with Nielsen to gather data for digital ad ratings that measure viewership across a variety of streaming devices, in a service similar to Nielsen's signature TV ratings.

Much of Hulu's library has historically been broadcast television content, and the majority of its viewers are accustomed to the presence of advertising. Ad-free content, a la Netflix, is a fairly recent development, and though there might be an insurrection among customers if Netflix introduced ads, Hulu subscribers have no such concerns.

Embracing its roots

stranger thingsIts willingness to embrace its broadcast TV roots has provided Hulu with something of a safety net, with advertising as a secondary source of revenue, allowing the company to grow at a slower pace and providing additional funds for building out it library of content.

Even some early cable channels were based on popular regional broadcast stations, such as Time Warner properties TNT and TBS, which showed commercials in their cable channels.

Hulu clearly has bigger aspirations, though. It recently released its Hulu With Live TV for $39.99, though the service is still in beta.

It provides unlimited access to the company's streaming library, with limited commercial interruptions, plus an assortment of 50 live and on-demand TV channels that include sports, news, and other entertainment. The service can be viewed on Android and iOS devices, Xbox One, Chromecast, and fourth-generation Apple TV.

The inclusion of sports is telling. By combining live TV, its library of content, and sports, Hulu is positioning itself as an alternative to Netflix's movies and TV.

Different strokes for different folks

Considering Netflix's 100 million subscribers and growing, I don't think Hulu will be dethroning its competitor anytime soon, and there's plenty of room for overlap.

A recent eMarketer survey reported that in the first quarter of 2017, 54% of U.S. respondents had used Netflix, 27% watched Amazon Prime Video, 12% watched Hulu, 23% had used another service, and 34% didn't use any. Those add up to 151%, which tells me that some people subscribe to more than one provider.

Still with the phenomenon of cord cutting as a backdrop, it isn't hard to imagine that sports fans might choose Hulu as an alternative to cable, particularly at the lower price point. The advertising revenue provides the company with the means to pursue additional content, and that lets Hulu have a little something for everyone.

Stephen Colbert says Russian intelligence officers followed him on a recent trip to the country

Stephen Colbert

Since February, "Late Show" host Stephen Colbert has held on to a first-place ranking in the late-night ratings battle, thanks, in large part, to his incisive commentary on President Donald Trump and his administration's alleged Russian ties.

But, according to Colbert, his high profile and Russian jokes may be attracting too much attention for his own comfort, specifically from Russian intelligence.

Colbert visited Russia last week and appeared on a Russian late-night show to facetiously announce that he's running for President of the United States in 2020. He says he was "followed" by both Russian and American intelligence officers during his trip.

"Man, it is good to be back in the USA," Colbert told his "Late Show" audience Monday night. "I don’t know if you knew this, but I was in Russia last week.

"You know who did know I was in Russia? Russian intelligence. Hardcore fans, evidently. Followed me everywhere. Also got some attention from American intelligence. Couple guys seemed to pop up everywhere we went."

Colbert then joked that there's someone else American intelligence should be more interested in for their alleged Russia-related activities.

"But it’s important, keep your eye on a comedian while he’s in Russia doing jokes," he said. "I could be giving state secrets to the Russians. Oh, wait, someone’s already got that covered. Someone should investigate that guy."

Drake hosted the first-ever NBA Awards last night and brought his comedic chops to the table in two skits, including one that featured him and Will Ferrell as "handshake coaches" for NBA players.

In the funniest of the two sketches, Drake impersonated Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry in a parody of Jordan Peele's instant-classic 2017 horror film "Get Out."

Drake's Curry is watching the movie "Belly" and eating off-brand Blazing Hot Cheetos when an actor playing Warriors forward Draymond Green reaches out to get Curry to celebrate the Warriors' recent NBA championship at a party.

Then an actress playing Steph's wife, Ayesha Curry, interrupts to hypnotize Drake with a rhythmic motion of tea cup and spoon, à la Catherine Keener's character in "Get Out."

"I'm glad we stayed in tonight," says Drake's hypnotized Curry in the final frame, wearing a onesie pajama covered in cutouts of Ayesha's face.

10 incredible 'Game of Thrones' theories that might actually come true

Daenerys Targaryen Game of Thrones season seven

Warning: Spoilers ahead for "Game of Thrones," including predictions and speculation of future events.

George R.R. Martin's epic fantasy series "A Song of Ice and Fire" isn't just the source material for HBO's television adaptation "Game of Thrones," it's the basis for literally hundreds (if not thousands) of fan theories. Discussion hubs like /r/asoiaf and Westeros.org are home to some of the most popular predictions for the future of the series.

With two seasons of the show to go, we've rounded up some of the theories that could still come true on "Game of Thrones."

Take a look and make your own decisions about the ones you think will most likely go down on the upcoming seasons.

Daenerys is actually the villain, and will wreak havoc in Westeros.

Though Daenerys is a strong leader who generally appears to be a champion for the common people, there is a running theory that she isn't the hero people think.

As INSIDER's deputy editor Megan Willett explained, both the show and the books have provided evidence that she could be headed down a darker path. There have been many analyses throughout the years that support this idea as well.

The idea boils down to this: Daenerys is going to arrive in Westeros and be seen as a vicious conqueror — not the savior she thinks she is. Daenerys is beginning to see the benefit of full-blown war and violence over politics. And besides, there's another character who is being set up as the true hero of Westeros— Jon Snow.

Jon Snow may broker a peace with the White Walkers to restore peace to the realm.

One of the top posts of all time on the "A Song of Ice and Fire" subreddit is a theory about the "true nature and purpose of the [White Walkers]." The thought starts with Martin's open affinity for grey-area characters. He doesn't believe in pure evil or pure good. That begs the question: How are the White Walkers anything BUT pure evil?

Redditor c_forrester_thorne guessed that perhaps the White Walkers forged an ancient pact with men long ago, and helped build the Wall as part of their agreement. But now Daenerys and her dragons are a part of breaking that pact — hence their attack on Westeros. Here's part of the theory summary:

[The White Walkers] are hostile towards men because of [...] their incursion into the Other's agreed on territory, and the danger the Targs and their fire magic pose to the Others and the world at large. Rhaegar fathered a son by Lyanna to unite the blood of the dragonriders and the Other-kin, whether he knew it or not. Jon is that son and will bring peace between the Others and the realms of men.

Bran will warg into a dragon to help fight the White Walkers.

Over the course of six seasons, we've seen Bran acquire more powers than he ever could have imagined. Not only is he a powerful greenseer capable of traveling throughout time and influencing events, but he can warg/skinchange into animals and humans alike. Warging, the act of transferring your consciousness into another being, is a relatively unexplored aspect of "Game of Thrones."

Three years ago, Redditor svenhoek86 asked the /r/asoiaf community if warging into dragons was a possibility. There is a line from Bran that might be important foreshadowing. In both the show and the books, Bloodraven tells Bran that he'll never walk again, but he "will fly."

Daenerys has three dragons, and in the books there is a prophetic statement in a vision which states "the dragon must have three heads"— interpreted by book readers to mean there must be three dragon riders. Daenerys is one, and some believe either Jon Snow or Tyrion could be the second, leaving Bran the third dragon to "ride."

bachelor drinking toast

Reality television has become an important part of the entertainment industry. And in many cases, reality show fans can rival those of scripted shows in number and dedication.

Over the years, many people have come to regard reality shows with disdain. Sure, there are drunken parties, tossed glasses of wine, and proverbial backstabbings, but there's more to the genre than that. Plus, what's wrong with a little drama here and there?

INSIDER compiled a list of the unscripted shows on TV that we feel represent the best of the bunch. They include programs that some would consider lowbrow, but there are also shows on our list that redefined industries, opened people's minds, and blazed new trails.

Here are our picks for the 15 best reality TV shows on tv right now:

Chip and Joanna Gaines have racked up a ton of fans over the four seasons of their HGTV renovation show.

Aside from their popularity, the show arrived at a time when finances were tight for people. The idea of buying a house that needed some work had become the most attractive option for many. And then here comes the Gaines to show them that getting everything they wanted in their home is still possible, even if it's a fixer upper — and with an adorable family to boot.

16. "Tiny House Nation" (FYI)

Not every reality TV show is about aspiring to live in McMansions. HGTV's "Tiny House Nation" travels the country to help home buyers build their ideal tiny home.

The process of preparing the home buyers for living tiny is fascinating. And in all cases, host John Weisbarth and Zack Giffin end up delivering exactly what the buyers needed.

15. "Big Brother" (CBS)

MTV's "Real World" may have made been the first to put strangers in a home and then tape their every move, but "Big Brother" took it to the extreme – complete with contests for head of the house, eliminations, and around-the-clock taping.

The show is currently in its 19th season.

DeMario Jackson calls Corinne Olympios the 'aggressor' in 'Bachelor in Paradise' scandal

demario jackson bachelor in paradise e news

The INSIDER Summary:

  • E! aired the first two parts of its interview with DeMario Jackson on Monday.
  • It's his first sit-down interview since the "Bachelor in Paradise" scandal news broke.
  • Jackson confirmed many of the intimate details of the night in question and said that Corinne Olympios was the "aggressor."
  • He also said that Olympios wasn't drunk during their encounter.
  • The third and final part of E!'s interview with Jackson airs on Tuesday.

DeMario Jackson spilled the intimate details from the sexual misconduct scandal that threatened to cancel "Bachelor in Paradise."

E! News aired the first of two parts from its official sit-down interview with Jackson — his first since the scandal went public — on Monday.

"That night was probably one of the wildest nights of my entire life," he said of the night in question with Olympios. "Like, we went for it."

Over the past few weeks, the show was rocked by allegations that Jackson allegedly engaged in sexual acts with Olympios when she was too intoxicated to give consent while the show's cameras rolled in Mexico.

His account confirms much of the intimate details reported of the night in early-June, including oral sex. Jackson said that the two bonded over their reputations as villains on their respective seasons of the ABC dating franchise. He also said that he was very aware that the cameras were taping his encounter with Olympios and made sure they they did.

"It's crazy because when you're a man — mostly an African-American man — no matter where you're at, you always look for things that can help you out. And at that moment, I made sure the cameras followed us."

Things certainly heated up from there, according to Jackson, who called Olympios the "aggressor" that night.

"[We were] kissing, rubbing, touching. It's nothing too sexual yet," he told E! News of what occurred with Olympios in a pool. "Things got wild, because it was more of like her being the aggressor, which was sexy."

"You have a very attractive girl telling you what she wants, it's like a very, like, 'Wow, OK! This is hot. This is very, I like it,'" the "Bachelorette" alum continued.

corinne and demario bachelor in paradise

After an investigation, "Bachelor" producer Warner Bros. decided there was no misconduct found. Reportedly, production will resume in Mexico as early as this week. Jackson isn't expected to return, according to reports.

Meanwhile, Olympios' high-powered attorney, Marty Singer, has said that he's continuing to investigate the incident. Olympios has said she was a "victim" in the alleged incident, and claims to remember very little about the night in question.

The question of Olympios' level of intoxication during the night is central, because it hinges on whether she was able to give consent for the alleged sexual acts that occurred. Jackson, who said he has also sought out legal counsel, contended that she wasn't drunk.

"No!" he answered emphatically when asked if Oympios was drunk while they were hooking up. "I don't even know sober girls that can do what she did."

Warning: Minor spoilers ahead for Netflix's series "GLOW."

Netflix's new comedy "GLOW," which stands for "Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling," is based on the low-budget hit women's wrestling organization and TV show of the same name from the 1980s.

It stars "Community" star Alison Brie as Ruth, an out-of-work actress who answers a casting call for "unconventional women." Excited that the audition isn't for a pornographic film, Ruth sticks it out to become one of a dozen strange women who'll build America's first professional women's wrestling organization.

Why should you care:

There's some pretty big TV players behind "GLOW." Its executive producers' credits include "Orange Is the New Black,""Nurse Jackie," and "Homeland." And if you were a major fan of the original '80s show, it's fun to see how something like that came together.

What's hot:

Aside from the immensely relatable Brie, there is some outstanding acting from comedian Marc Maron, who plays the director of "GLOW"; Betty Gilpin, as a soap actress-turned-wrestler and Ruth's good friend (until she's not); and Britney Young, who plays the gentle giant, Carmen, who's part of a wrestling legacy.

Also an honorable mention must go to the adorable Chris Lowell, who played Piz on "Veronica Mars," as the rich kid who does a lot of drugs and becomes the financial backer for "GLOW."

What's not:

There's some meandering storylines in the early episodes, but things start to pay off after you've gotten over the first few. Keep watching.

The bottom-line:

On the surface, "GLOW" is a fun, fast viewing experience. But if you look just a tad deeper, there's something in this group of freaks working toward belonging to something that will be relatable for most viewers and there's a pretty empowering message for women.

Grade:

'I got played': DeMario Jackson calls 'Bachelor in Paradise' scandal a 'conspiracy'

demario jackson corinne olympios bachelor in paradise ABC E news

The INSIDER Summary:

  • On E! News's final installment of its interview with DeMario Jackson, he said he believes that the "Bachelor in Paradise" scandal was a "conspiracy."
  • He doesn't clearly blame anyone for setting him up.
  • He seems to insinuate that Corinne Olympios may have had a hand in it.
  • One of the producers who filed a complaint about the alleged misconduct on-set is reportedly Olympios' friend.

DeMario Jackson, who's at the center of the "Bachelor in Paradise" scandal that threatened to end the ABC show, said he was set up.

In the third and final installment of E! News' interview with Jackson that aired on Tuesday, the "Bachelorette" alum calls the whole controversy a "conspiracy," but he doesn't say whether he blames Corinne Olympios — who he's accused of engaging in sexual acts when she was too intoxicated to give consent while the cameras rolled in Mexico — or the show's producers.

"I got played," he said, "not by her, but I got played in general. I am not sure by who, but I got played."

In the interview, he backs away from blaming Olympios but it appears as if she had a role in what he's calling a "conspiracy."

E! News reported that one of the producers who filed a complaint about the incident is one of Olympios' friends. And Jackson feels that the way the events went down are fishy.

"The producer was not present to watch the tape," Jackson said. "She overheard. And now you're like, 'What! What's going on? She heard over a walkie-talkie that later on in the night that Corinne was drunk and that Corinne and DeMario hooked up."

And as for Olympios' role in the events, Jackson felt things just didn't add up.

"And then all of a sudden you find out she has a boyfriend," he said of Olympios. "And she promised her boyfriend that she wasn't going to cheat [on the show]."

"[I call it a] conspiracy because it goes back to the very beginning when [Olympios] came up to me, hopped into my arms, [and] led me to the pool," he went on.

corinne the bachelor

Again, Jackson stops short of pointing fingers as to who's behind the conspiracy. But that leaves questions, such as does he actually believe Olympios was trying to make an excuse for cheating on her boyfriend? Or does he think ABC and producer Warner Bros. were looking for publicity and a hot storyline for the show?

Jackson does defend Olympios from the slut-shaming she has experienced since the scandal became public and said what he'd like to tell her if he had the chance.

"I love her and I'm here for her," said Jackson of what he'd tell Olympios now. "She's experiencing the same thing that I am ... I'm mad at the situation. I'd like to really ask her what happened, because there are so many different angles."

Olympios has said she was a "victim" in the alleged incident, though she claims to remember very little about the night in question. And Olympios' boyfriend, Jordan Gielchinsky, said last week that he continues to support her until he has a "legitimate reason not to give it."

After an investigation, Warner Bros. decided there was no misconduct found. Reportedly, production has already resumed on the fourth season of "Bachelor in Paradise" in Mexico. Jackson isn't expected to return, according to reports.

Meanwhile, Olympios' high-powered attorney, Marty Singer, has said that he's continuing to investigate the incident.

In the first two parts of Jackson's interview with E! News that aired on Monday, he went into the intimate details of the night. He said that Olympios was the "aggressor" and that she wasn't drunk when they hooked up — an important detail as the whole scandal hinges on whether she was able to give consent fpr the sexual acts with Jackson as the show's crew witnessed.

"No!" Jackson answered emphatically when asked if Olympios was drunk while they were hooking up. "I don't even know sober girls that can do what she did."

NBC has a new sports streaming service, but it's kind of a mess for fans

premier league sad

NBC is shaking up how it delivers Premier League matches, and it's not all for the better.

The Comcast-owned network, which owns the exclusive rights to the English soccer league in the US, announced on Tuesday a new streaming service called “Premier League Pass.”

NBC says this will stream the 130 live Premier League matches that are not aired across the company’s family of networks over the internet, without the need for a cable subscription. It will include match replays and a suite of additional Premier League-related content as well. The company says each of the 20 Premier League clubs will have “at least three” matches streamed exclusively through the new service.

The service will be available for $50 per season. It’ll be part of the company’s existing NBC Sports Gold platform, which is available on iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, and the web.

Premier LeagueIn many ways, this looks like a good deal. NBC has had the rights to the Premier League since 2013, and in that time it has required soccer fans to have a cable subscription to be able to watch their favorite clubs. For a service that gives you 130 games over the course of nine months, $50 feels reasonable.

As people continue to ditch traditional cable packages, it makes sense to not only offer an option to cord-cutters and “cord-nevers” — younger people who don’t buy cable in the first place — but also to more aggressively monetize those who may have been freeloading games off of other people’s cable subscriptions.

And NBC itself has hinted at this sort of shake-up in the past. “No matter what technologies get invented between now and over the next seven years, we paid for the right to try to monetize this product against whatever form of viewership consumers are using,” NBC Sports chairman Mark Lazarus said in a conference call about the rights extension the company signed with the Premier League in 2015.

But for some consumers, the problem isn't NBC experimenting with new products, it's losing access to games they used to be able to see.

Up to now, if you had a cable package that included NBC Sports Network — NBC’s main outlet for Premier League games — you could watch any Premier League game that wasn’t aired on TV through NBC’s Extra Time service. If you followed a specific team, you were assured that your one monthly payment would get you access to all of its matches in some form.

Premier LeagueWhat NBC is doing with Premier League Pass, then, is splitting that setup into two. Extra Time will be wound down, so the 250 games that NBC says it will air over its TV networks won’t be available live through Premier League Pass, which, again, will air the other 130 games that won’t be available on TV.

So if I wanted to follow, say, Everton this year, I’d have to subscribe to either cable or a live TV service like PlayStation Vue to watch the handful of its matches NBC puts on TV, and pay the $50 for Premier League Pass to watch its non-marquee matches. Having the flexibility to go completely cord-free is great, but you’ll now have to make multiple payments for a fragmented solution.

Again, this kind of service isn’t unprecedented — things like NBA League Pass and MLB At Bat have long been popular. But since there are no “local markets” in the US with a league based in England, every non-casual Premier League fan will likely have to subscribe to Premier League Pass and a pay-TV package to fully follow their club.

And the move seems to further the notion that streaming TV services like Sling TV and DirecTV Now aren’t “killing” the cable paradigm so much as migrating it to the internet: You might pay a little less, but you still have to buy a bundle of potentially unwanted channels to get everything you want.

As it is now, Premier League Pass opens the door for cord-cutters, which is great. But with NBC trying to have it both ways, the service doesn't look like the all-in-one solution soccer fans might want.

Warning: Spoilers ahead if you didn't watch Tuesday's series finale for Freeform's "Pretty Little Liars."

Fans pretty much guessed how "Pretty Little Liars" ended.

After so many fake-outs, red herrings, and even a five-year time jump, "Pretty Little Liars" ended its run on Tuesday. But hardcore fans may not have been surprised by how it all went down, because a popular internet theory was basically right.

The theory:

The internet theory posited that Spencer Hastings, who's played by Troian Bellisario, has a twin sister who's behind all the mayhem that has ensued since the original villainous A, Charlotte Drake, was killed on season six. And guess what? That's exactly what happened on the series finale.

Read more about the twin theory here and here.

Viewers met Alex Drake — also played by Bellisario, using a not-so-posh British accent  — on the series finale. As we learned earlier this season, Spencer's real mother is Mary Drake — a result of an affair between her and Spencer's father. That makes Spencer Charlotte's half-sister. But Spencer also had an unknown twin, Alex, who was sold to a British family at birth, but was later sent to an orphanage for having behavioral issues.

Apparently, some years ago, Alex ran into Wren — the man who was engaged to Spencer's half-sister Melissa Hastings and once kissed Spencer — in a bar in England. Struck by how similar she looked to Spencer, Wren began dating Alex and then introduced her to her half-sister Charlotte. After Charlotte's death and unmasking as the original A, Alex inherited Charlotte's fortune and set out to continue making life hell for the Liars and get revenge for the horrible hand she was dealt when she was given away.

By the way, twin theories have been around since the show began. In the books that the show was based on, it was revealed that Alison had a twin named Courtney. Producers said they weren't going down the same road, but they sure didn't veer too far from it.

How did it all end?

In what would be the biggest move of Alex's villainous plan, she kidnapped Spencer and held her captive as she assumed her identity. Meanwhile, she also captured Ezra so he'd miss his wedding with Lucy Hale's Aria. That would give Alex a chance to be Aria's shoulder to cry on and ease into a close friendship with her.

In the end, the crazy and always sidelined Mona had been posing as one of Uber A's goons in order to figure out her identity. Once she figured out where Uber A was located, she told the other girls and they went to save Spencer and Ezra.

Mona claimed that she called 911 and police arrived to arrest Alex and Mary Drake. But in the closing scene of the show, we find out that Mona will always be crazy as it's revealed that she had imprisoned Alex and Mary and was treating them like her dolls.

As for the Liars, Aria finally married Ezra, and they plan to adopt a baby; Spencer got back with her original "PLL" boyfriend, Toby; Hanna and her husband Caleb found out they're expecting a baby; and Emily and Alison continue to raise their newborn twins together.

There were some negative reviews on the twin theory becoming true:

But other fans were ultimately pleased.

Alec Baldwin will bring his acclaimed, ratings-boosting impression of President Donald Trump back to "Saturday Night Live" for the show's 43rd season, at least in some capacity.

Baldwin's return looks like it will be more of a limited engagement than it was in the previous season, according to CNN.

"Yeah, we're going to fit that in," Baldwin told CNN on Monday. "I think people have enjoyed it."

The 59-year-old actor told the outlet that his busy schedule will mean "SNL" fans will be treated to a "couple celery sticks" instead of a "whole meal" of his Trump impression.

Baldwin played Trump throughout the show's 42nd season. In March, he suggested that he may give up the impression for the next season.

Michele Clapton Game of Thrones costume designer

Warning: Spoilers ahead for "Game of Thrones," including speculation of future events.

Costume designer Michele Clapton is the brilliant mind behind every ornately embroidered gown and dashing new fur cloak the "Game of Thrones" characters don on each episode. Over the course of the series, Clapton has made it her mission to help inform the evolution each characters' journey through their costumes.

"I love the details," Clapton told INSIDER. "Some people say, 'Well, why don't you make it more obvious,' but that's the joy of 'Game of Thrones' — you have to search things out."

We spoke with Clapton about crafting new season seven costumes for the two biggest female power players in the series — Cersei Lannister and Daenerys Targaryen — and what their new styles mean for their journey ahead.

Kim Renfro: Based on the new trailers and released photos for season seven, it seems as though black and silver are the new thematic colors for both Cersei and Daenerys — why did you choose that palette for both of those characters?

Michele Clapton: Well, we've had six seasons so far where we've explored different areas and it's coming down to the crux now. And actually with Dany, subliminally it's monochrome but there's actually red there — a little bit of her house colors coming in finally.

Daenerys Targaryen on beach Dragonstone castle Game of Thrones season seven

And it’s coming to a point [where] everything is almost polarized. So I love the idea of all the women, and actually everything, is almost mono-chromed. It's about winning the throne, all the challenges they have, the threats from over the wall, everything. Each of the women's costumes have all become quite dark but there's details within each of them that are incredibly important.

Renfro: What are some specific details fans should look for in Daenerys' new gowns?

Clapton: You know Dany is now moved from the heat of [Meereen] and she's come north, so we obviously see her covered much more than we're used to. And then her army is the Unsullied, so we're trying to blend it all in and make them become a force.

With Dany especially, people used to say, "Well, why doesn't she wear red?" Now you do finally start seeing it creeping in through the scaling and embroidery on her dresses. It's just a touch. And she now has this fantastic new chain we've created. I didn't want her to have a crown, I wanted her to have a chain. And she has a red sash hanging from it, which is slightly scaled and pleated as well.

Daenerys Targaryen HBO promo Game of Thrones season 7

Renfro: Why didn't you want Dany to have a crown?

Clapton: Well, she's not the queen yet. You can't have a crown until you are queen. You can have the chain, but until you get the throne you're not queen. I liked that she's wearing everything she can to show her status but she can't wear the crown because it'd be wearing it before it was due.

I think each thing — the [dragon] links in the chain for instance — everything about [her costume] has symbolism and that's what I find so interesting in designing the costumes. You should be able to look at each character and almost mentally know what they're trying to say.

You can see in the way [Dany is] dressing that she's almost assuming the power but not quite. With all the colors and the details and the essence — it just becomes stronger. The width of the shoulders give her strength, the chain gives her strength. I tried to make the cut of the costumes just slightly more like a uniform and almost less feminine.

Daenerys Grey Worm Tyrion Missandei Varys Game of Thrones season seven

This is the time when it's all really going to matter, and so there's a power play between her and Cersei. It's like a standoff. And I think they've both reached a place where it's not about femininity, it's about their strength as women. They are the leaders, and so the femininity doesn't come as quickly into it.

Renfro: What is driving the story behind Cersei's new black and silver look?

Clapton: With Cersei, at this point, she's attained the throne and there's a strength in her embroidery. It's actually quite ornate and over the top and that's a precursor in a funny way — it's the last gasp before something else, in my sense. It's a weird flamboyance, but it's quite hard as well.

And we've also shortened her dress so it makes her less vulnerable. She can move and she can be a little bit like Dany in a way, because it's not quite as restrictive. [Cersei] always had strong collars and strong shoulders, so I thought this [dress] should take it the furthest I can take it before it's not there.

Cersei and Jaime Lannister in throne room Game of Thrones season seven

Clapton:It's a journey on each of them — if you look back at where they first started it's quite interesting to see. People always say "Why don't you have this, why can't you add that?" and it's like "Well sometimes you have to wait for that — you have to wait for the journey and for them to seek it out."

With Dany in particular, finally we're getting the [Targaryen] red. She was a confused woman, she was wandering ... trying to seek something. And now she's finally got her armor, she's finally got everything, and she can finally echo the style of her brother with the extended shoulders and the red and the symbolism. He always had the big Targaryen [sigil] on his chest and now she's got the big chain with the dragon's heads on it.

Daenerys and Viserys Targaryen Side by Side Game of Thrones

Clapton: So it's still a journey and it will be interesting to see where they go. Season seven hasn’t been released yet, so the things you have seen are just a part of the journey.

Renfro: Is there an overall theme that ties the women of Westeros together this season?

Clapton: There's just a showing of strength among the women, and in a funny way this is true with Sansa as well. She has the chain she has the circle, she's bringing all that she's been through to her costume. You need to look at the story. Her strength and the way that she's clothed to protect herself from the things that have happened. At the same time, she's beginning to assert herself as an independent woman and not actually being manipulated by anyone anymore. And so it's just a stepping forward of each of these three women — well fourth if you include Arya.

Sansa Stark and Littlefinger Game of Thrones season seven

[The new costumes were] just about them being strong women and showing what they had been through to get where they were. I always try to tell that story — the costumes for me are narrative and you should be able to look at them and understand where they are mentally in their journey. I think they've all found a strength and achieved something.

In Cersei's case she’s finally achieved the throne. For Dany, she feels like she will achieve the throne. Sansa has finally become independent from a lot of the people that she's been reliant on, though maybe not Littlefinger. It was a way of darkening up these women and trying to show that were fighting each other not from a point of femininity but from the point of a person.

Renfro: Were there any contemporary designers or historical cultures that influenced the new season seven costumes?

Clapton: It's funny — I think in the beginning I was probably inspired much more by contemporary and period costumes but now their characters actually inspire [me] and I look outside of them much less often. Of course, sometimes I'll pick up on something interesting [in the real world] but on the whole I tend to look at their story now.

Cersei Lannister dress close up Game of Thrones season seven

Clapton: At this stage, everything has reach such a zenith in their character development that everything they do and say symbolically means something. Even Dany's rings, her jewelry — every single bit says something the character. From the brittleness of the glass on Cersei and the metal rings on Dany and the way that now other are wearing things to show their allegiance. We try to be really symbolic about everything everyone wears now.

Cersei Lannister Game of Thrones season seven trailer

Warning: Spoilers ahead for "Game of Thrones," including speculation of future events.

"Game of Thrones" season six ended with Cersei's dramatic coup of the Iron Throne and the debut of a new look for the new queen. Clad in black with ornate silver shoulder pads, Queen Cersei took her seat on the coveted throne with terrifying confidence.

But will it last?

"With Cersei, at this point, she's attained the throne and there's a strength in her embroidery," Michele Clapton, the lead costume designer on the HBO hit drama, told INSIDER.

"It's actually quite ornate and over-the-top and that's a precursor in a funny way — it's the last gasp before something else, in my sense," she continued.

Clapton didn't elaborate or go into spoiler territory, but it's possible to interpret her remarks as an indicator that Cersei's time on top might be coming to an end soon.

"[Cersei] always had strong collars and strong shoulders, so I thought this [dress] should take it the furthest I can take it before it's not there," Clapton said.

Again, while Clapton didn't specifically say that Cersei will soon be stripped of her royal title, we can't help but wonder if her reign will come to an end soon. A very popular fan theory speculates that Cersei will not only be murdered, but killed at the hands (hand?) of her twin/lover Jaime.

Clapton also said that the use of glass in Cersei's elaborate gown embroidery is tied to a "brittleness" in her character.

We try to be really symbolic about everything everyone wears now."

Emilia Clarke tells the delightful story of the first time she met 'Game of Thrones' hubby Jason Momoa

Daenerys and Drogo Game of Thrones season one

The INSIDER Summary:

  • Jason Momoa and Emilia Clarke starred together as a couple in the first season of "Game of Thrones."
  • Emilia Clarke told Rolling Stone the story of meeting Jason Momoa for the first time.
  • She walked into a hotel lobby and heard "WIFEY!" from across the room.
  • Momoa ran to her and tackled her in a rugby-hug before even introducing himself.

No character killed off in "Game of Thrones" is more beloved than season one's Khal Drogo, played by real-life badass Jason Momoa. In a new video interview for Rolling Stone, Emilia Clarke (whose character Daenerys was married to the impressive Khal Drogo on season one) tells the story of meeting her new co-star and on-screen husband for the first time.

"I walked in and from the other side of this enormous lobby I hear 'WIFEY!'"Clarke said. "And this huge Hawaiian man comes bounding over to me, picks me up, and genuinely gets me in a rugby tackle to the floor. It was only when he picked  me back up and kind of dusted me off that I was like, 'Who are you?'"

Emilia Clarke Rolling Stone interview Jason Momoa

"Game of Thrones" films many of its scenes on location in Belfast, Northern Ireland. This hilarious and adorable encounter happened on the first night Clarke arrived to the hotel in Belfast where the cast was all staying.

Clearly the chemistry between Clarke and Momoa kicked off with a bang. The love story between Khal Drogo and Daenerys Targaryen may have started off uneasy, but quickly became of the the series' best relationships. Unfortunately for fans, Drogo was killed off by the end of the first season.

Now Momoa is starring as Aquaman in the upcoming "Justice League" movie, though based on his Instagram feed he hangs out with the "Game of Thrones" family whenever he can.

Watch the full Rolling Stone "First Time" interview below (the Jason Momoa story starts at about 1:10) to hear Clarke's tale.

Watch Stephen Colbert's epic takedown of the 'healing stickers' promoted on Gwyneth Paltrow's website Goop

gwyneth paltrow stephen colbert

The INSIDER Summary:

  • Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop recently recommend "healing" stickers that claim to treat various ailments.
  • Spoiler alert: They can't actually do that. They're stickers.
  • Stephen Colbert dedicated a whole segment of his show to lambasting the ridiculous product.

Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle brand Goop has made some shady recommendations over the years. But its latest recommendation — a line of "healing" stickers — was so shady that Stephen Colbert felt the need to speak out.

On Tuesday night, Colbert spent roughly seven minutes of his show dissecting the claims of Body Vibes, a line of stickers that Goop said could "promote healing" by "rebalanc[ing] the energy frequency in our bodies."

The Body Vibes website claims its stickers can treat anxiety and hangovers, promote "mental focus," improve skin, and more. And all for the low price of $60 for a 10-pack! (INSIDER spoke with a doctor who said the claims "make no sense medically" and called them "simply obscene.")

"Previously, if you wanted wearable stickers that promote healing, you had to buy a box of Band-Aids," Colbert said. He took an extra moment to call out Body Vibes' line of "hydration" stickers in particular. "I'm so thirsty, I need a big tall box of stickers," he quipped.

Finally, not be outdone by Paltrow, Colbert dreamed up his own celebrity lifestyle brand, "Covetton House." In a fake sales pitch near the end of the segment, he attempts to sell his viewers a "wellness self-adhesive" that's really just a roll of duct tape.
